Course Description

Yoga YogaFit? is a hybrid of yoga, stretching and fitness exercises that blends Eastern tradition with Western fitness science. YogaFit combines traditional fitness training, focused breathing and strength building through yoga poses. It's not about twisting your body into unnatural contortions or chanting. It's not about a specific spiritual doctrine. It's about improving your health. YogaFit tightens and tones the entire body, enhances flexibility and builds core strength in people of all ages and fitness levels. YogaFit draws on Ashtanga, Iyengar and Kundalini yoga but maintains the safety guidelines and eliminates the contraindications as recommended by the American Council on Exercise, ACE and AFAA. Course Time: Sunday 9am-10am.
