Course Description

This three-day course uses CES' model of self-evaluation to enable participants to develop their understanding and ability to implement an outcomes-focused self-evaluation system. This work will be placed within the context of other models of monitoring and evaluation within the voluntary sector. This course is intensive and will cover substantial content in depth. It also gives tasters of some of our complementary courses, but people attending this advanced course will still find it useful to attend complementary courses as well. By the end of the three-day course, participants will have increased their knowledge and/or skills in: identifying and clarifying aims and objectives, outputs and outcomes for a project setting output and outcome indicators developing a self-evaluation framework collecting self-evaluation information, particularly for outcomes distinguishing between outcomes and impact using evaluation information maximising the effectiveness of self-evaluation.
