Course Description

Playworkers work with school age children (4-16) and plan activities and play opportunities to help them develop. Course content There are six mandatory units and two optional units. These are some of the units you would acquire: Contribute to the positive relationships in the play settings Support children and young people's play Contribute to health and safety of the play environment Contribute to the work of your team Deal with accidents and emergencies Support the protection of children from abuse. Why choose this course? NVQs will benefit both you and the organisation where you work. NVQs also raise the quality of service provided by Childcare staff. All the skills are recognised and measured against National Standards. NVQ learners are assessed on their performance in the work setting by qualified assessors from triangle. Learners will also be required to attend training sessions delivered by triangle. This will give the relevant underpinning knowledge and understanding in Playwork.
