Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident within their first two years of driving than at any other time in their driving career. For example: Two young people under 25 die every day in crashes in Great Britain In their first year of driving, one driver in five is involved in a crash It is not just about age as newly qualified drivers are at a higher than average risk no matter what their age. Most drivers become safer by driving more miles and by experiencing a wider variety of driving situations. However, it is not enough just to let new drivers learn by experience because, too often they will learn the hard way. How does it work? You undertake the 6 modules that make up the course. Your instructor will record the details of your training and send the completed form to the Driving Standards Agency at the end of the course. After successfully completing the whole course you will receive a certificate from the Driving Standards Agency. You can then send this certificate to one of the participating insurance companies to claim your premier discount.
