Yogalates (Yoga + Pilates) Level: Introduction Course content: This course is for people who want to improve their stamina, flexibility and fitness with a physical practice which tones the body and calms the mind. A blend of Pilates and Yoga. By the end of the course you will be able to: 1. perform the basic sequence of moves safely 2. perform a warm up routine 3. perform a relaxation routine Course Structure: A physical class in which the tutor demonstrates and corrects your poses and movements as you work in a class Course resources: Any necessary equipment such as mats is provided. Students should wear lose comfortable clothing and bare feet [ foot infections must be treated prior to joining class] Assessment: Teacher feedback. Individual Student progress Records. Student and peer self-assessment. The fee you pay is dependent on your status: Fee 1: Standard fee Fee 2: Aged 60+ years fee Students in receipt of an income-based benefit pay ?20 per course per term. You will need to bring proof of age and any benefits when you enrol. You DO NOT have to pay a college registration fee for these courses, but you may have to pay for additional course materials.Materials costs: The tutor will advise you about any materials costs.
