NVQ 2 Performing Engineering Operations Level: 2 Location: RH Years: 1 Course Summary This programme is designed to provide a foundation for students wishing to build a career within the Electrical Installation field. The programme includes the City and Guild 2330 Level 2 Electrotechnical Certificate. How will I be assessed? The underpinning assessments are multiple choice on line examinations set by the City and Guilds and internally assessed practical examinations. How much time will I spend on the course? 6 hours per week How is the course delivered? Practical workshop and classroom studies, with some educational visits. Who is this course suitable for? Students wishing for a career in Electrical Installation. What are mandatory modules or units? 001 - Working Safety in an engineering environment. 002 - Working efficiently and effectively in engineering. 003 - Using and communicating technical information. 033 - Wiring and testing electrical equipment and circuits. 034 - Forming and assembling wiring supports systems. 036 - Assembly and testing electronic circuits. What materials do I have to provide? Stationery, i.e. Pens, Pencil, Ruler, Calculator etc. Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required? Safety boots and overalls.
