Institute of the Motor Industry - Management Certificate Level 4. Two years part time - Evenings. The course has been specially designed for those wishing to progress to positions in middle management in the motor vehicle industry. The course consists of the following six modules - Management Studies - Managing Human Resources - Organisation and Administration - Managing Financial Resources and Information - Motor Trade Law and Legislation - Service / Body shop Manager How Will I Be Taught? This is a classroom based course. The tutors will use a variety of teaching techniques to make your learning as effective as possible. How Will I Be Assessed? You will submit written assignments that will be assessed by the tutor and IMI moderator. There are also a number of on-line tests for you to take. What Do I Need To Get On This Course? You will need a Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification, or at least four years post Apprenticeship experience. Mature students are accepted on the course after an interview. Course fees include IMI registration and examination fees, and may be paid for in installments if required. What Can I Do With This Qualification? On successful completion of this course, you will have the professional status that is recognised by the motor industry. This qualification will form part of your continuing professional development and is often a requirement for promotion within the trade.
