Part Time Health & Social Care : Introductory Certificate in Health and Social Care - Adult Is this course for you? The course is for adults who have an interest in working with and helping people in health and social care. It is an introductory course and successful completion will lead to the First Diploma in Health and Social Care How long is the course? 4 months - September to December. To be followed by First Diploma in Health and Social Care January - June. When you will be attending. 3 days a week 9.30am - 3.45pm When does the course start? September What's the course about? The course includes the study of 4 units: Starting work in Health and Social Care Developing Skills in Health and Social Care Social responsibility at work plus one of the following units: Looking after Children Images of People Is work experience a necessary part of the course? No work experience is required for this qualification. How will you be assessed? The course is assessed through an assignment for each unit. There is no exam. What qualification will you achieve?
