Course Description

MTB 16-18 Formerly known as an NVQ, this course builds on the competencies gained at Level 2 with students benefitiing from a blend of theory and practicl assessments all aimed at maximising their potential. Training will take place in the workplace at a suitable time arranged with the assessor. Entry Requirements Diploma in Work-Based Agriculture (Level 2) or equivalent is desirable. Students must be in a position of responsibility within the industry. Location Workplace Start Date Subject to demand. Course Duration 18 months Course Content This can include: Prepare, monitor and cultivate sites for planting crops Promote, monitor and maintain the healthy growth of extensive crops Promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security Develop personal performance and maintain working relationships Prepare and operate a tractor with attachments Registration Fee ?135 Tuition Fee ?900
