Dental Nursing NVQ Level 3 - Awarding Body: City and Guilds NEBDN Dates: On demand. You have up to 18 months to complete the qualification. Day: Wednesday Times: 1830 - 2030 Location: Cranford Avenue Aim of Course To provide a registered qualification for Dental Nurses To provide information on portfolio building, evidence gathering and knowledge requirements of this NVQ To identify opportunities to be assessed in the workplace To provide underpinning knowledge in preparation for VRQ Entry Requirements Course DetailsContents Attendance at college 1 evening a week for 32 weeks Assessment and review in the workplace MaterialsText Book Requirements No text book purchases are compulsory, although books will be recommended for student use. AssessmentExamination Details Successful completion of the qualification is based on workplace assessments and verification of portfolio showing evidence of competence. Successful completion of independence assessment VRQ (NEBDN) Course Cost Information Course Fees Tuition and assessment TBA Registration and exam TBA Total TBA Fees All fees quoted are for British EEA Citizens with settled status who have been resident in an EEA country for the last 3 years or have exceptional circumstances or exceptional leave to remain. If you are in any doubt as to your status please ask for advice on enrolment. Please note, fees are due at the time of enrolment. Refund of fees will only be paid in the event the College cancel the course, or if you notify the College of your intention to withdraw from the course 2 weeks prior to the start date. Reductions If you are in receipt of an income based qualifying benefit, you may be entitled to a fee reduction on tuition fees only. All other charges as shown above will need to be paid in full. Please remember to bring evidence of entitlement with you when you come to enrol. How to Apply and Additional Information You can apply to enrol:- By calling in to the ReceptionInformation Centre situated in Fleet Building at any time. Times of Opening are: 8.15am-8.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.15am-5pm on Fridays. During half terms, Christmas, Easter and Summer breaks, opening times are 8.30am -5.00pm Monday to Friday. Please advise if you require this leaflet in another language Rehabilitation of Offenders Please note, to help us look after students and assess risks, you will be asked to declare any unspent criminal convictions when you apply to do a course at Weymouth College. Please note Courses are operated on a minimum number of students and may, on rare occasions, be subject to cancellation. In the event of cancellation any fees paid will be refunded in full.
