Course Code: F466-SPAST Course Cost: ?212.00 About This Course This course is designed for plumbers and gas fitters who install domestic central heating, hot water systems and heating appliances using gas or oil and will give accreditation to self certify their own work against the Building Regulation L1 requirement for Energy Efficiency. Is previous experience necessary? A level 2 plumbing qualification or 5 years practical experience. As part of the enrolment process for this course, an informal interview will be carried out to access the suitabbility of the course for your needs. How will the course be delivered? A study pack will be sent out to you before the start of the course. The training and assessment will take one day. There is a practical and theory test. You must achieve 80% pass mark. What will I learn? All aspects of unvented hot water storage systems, heast loss, boiler sizing, Sedbuk rating, carbon indexing. Do I receive a qualification? An awarding body certificate will be issued on successful completion. What should I bring? 2 passport photographs and your National Insurance number.
