CACHE CPD Level 3 Unit 1 Individual Professional Development Attendance Part-time Evening Duration 1 Year Level This is a Level 3 course Times Starting 12 Apr 2010: Twelve Quays: Mon 18:00-21:00 It is planned to offer this course in the academic year 2010/11. The timetable and fees will be confirmed nearer the time. How to Apply/Enrol Application Form & Reference Form to be returned to Learner Services Course Outline You will be required to attend for 3 hours per week for a total of 60 hours over 20 weeks and independent study. Assessment is through assignments. Profile Unit One Individual Professional Development - will provide you with the necessary skills to reflect on and evaluate your own practice when working with children and young people. Opportunities The qualification provides a sound foundation on which to build and gain access to further advanced/specialist qualification. Progression to other level 3 courses and higher education is possible eg: CACHE Level 3 Certificate of Professional Development in Work with Children and Young People (CPD) or CACHE Level 4 Certificate Managing Quality Standards in Children's Services(CMQS)-you must be a manager or an advanced practitioner before taking this qualification, Foundation Degree Working with Children and Young People.
