Why Attend? Everyone recognises the value of a Hazard Identification Study as an integral part of a safety or reliability assessment. However, selection of the most appropriate hazard identification technique is crucial if you are to cost-effectively maximise the benefits of the Hazard Identification Study. What techniques are available? When is it more appropriate to use a summary technique such as check-lists rather than invest in a more resource-intensive and time-consuming fundamental approach such as FMEA or HAZOP? Participants attending this course will receive an overview of different techniques that can be used for hazard identification, including a brief outline of the approach, suitable applications, preparatory tasks, resource requirements, benefits and limitations.
