Course Description

Suitable for: RPSGB-registered practising Pharmacists. Candidates must be working in the UK in community or primary care pharmacy for a minimum of one day a week. Offers knowledge and expertise: required for a specialist role in community pharmacy or primary care. Additional information: This course recruits students from all over the UK, many funded by employers. Modules: Diploma (Indicative Content): Medicines Management Gastrointestinal Disorders the Cardiovascular System Respiratory Disorders the Endocrine System Patients with Mental Health Disorders Public Health Enhanced Services Treatment and Management of Skin Conditions. Assessment is by coursework, class test and practical skills assessment at the end of Years 1 and 2. MSc: Research Methods Protocol Design Dissertation (Year 3). Special features of this course: ? Focus on pharmaceutical care, therapeutics, CPD, medicines use review, enhanced services and delivering the pharmacy contractual framework. ? Part-time with study weekends in Cardiff.
