The School of Health and Human Sciences has an excellent reputation for the quality of our teaching, with an ever expanding range of health-related courses on offer, and our reputation for research (submitted with our Department of Sociology) is outstanding. This course is patient-focused and student-centred, reflecting contemporary health and social care practice. Our full-time accelerated courses are suitable if you are a graduate who wishes to become eligible to register with the relevant regulatory body within two years. Our students on these courses share learning experiences across all pre-registration disciplines. We use problem-based learning and design our courses as a continuous progression of integrated theory and practice. Subject to meeting UK residency criteria, your tuition fees are paid by the Strategic Health Authority and additional support funding may also be available.
