Course Description

This innovative programme uses scholarly expertise from across the School of History, Classics and Archaeology, providing a broad academic experience for those who wish to combine a small-scale research project at postgraduate level with specialist teaching across a variety of periods and approaches, including different approaches to the material and the visual. Modules include: 'Clothing Cultures in Comparative Historical Contexts', which ranges from the classical age to Hollywood film, 'The Material Culture of Gender in 18th-Century Britain', and 'Roman Imperial Monuments'.
