Course Description

The MSc Clean Chemical Technology and Management degree builds on a background in Science to integrate sustainable management and green chemistry. It is suitable for those with a first degree in ChemistryScience. The MSc Clean Chemical Technology and Management focuses on the principles of sustainability, management of environmental and social issues within organisations and the use of greenclean chemical processes and technology. This programme is one of a suite of sustainability related Masters programmes within the University. Students will study alongside students from some of these programmes and have the opportunity to work in interdisciplinary teams. The degree will be delivered jointly by Queen's University Management School (QUMS) and the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (SCCE). Both schools are committed to delivering an MSc degree that provides a high quality learning experience for students. Employability and Careers Opportunities for Careers ? Enhanced skills and knowledge for experienced managers for career development and retraining Full Time programme (20089) Students will have the opportunity to take 20 credits of option modules to add further tailor their programme of study to their individual needs. Students also complete a 15,000 word thesis. All candidates studying the programme full time are required to take and satisfactorily complete 120 credits of taught modules. In the first semester students take 4 compulsory 10 credit modules from Queen?s University Management School and a 20 credit core module from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (SCCE). In semester 2 students take 40 credits of core modules and then select 20 credits of option modules from the option list. Students are also required to complete a 15,000 word thesis Autumn Semester ?
