Course Description

MSc Applied Professional Studies (Adult Care and Protection) is one of in our suite of MSc Applied Professional Studies programmes. This range of innovative, inter-professional programmes that are dedicated to developing and integrating contemporary practice, helping practitioners to engage creatively with the concerns of their profession in a research-informed way. The named award MSc Applied Professional Studies (Adult Care and Protection) aims to develop advanced levels of professional practice in work with vulnerable adults. It will enable students to conceptualise and apply a range of theoretical and practice frameworks for assessment and intervention with vulnerable adults, enhance inter-professional and multi?sector working practices to promote collaborative practice and integrated approaches within and across a range of professions and disciplines. Students can choose to leave with a PGCertificate in Adult Care & Protection, or a PGDiploma or a Master of Science degree in Applied Professional Studies (Adult Care and Protection).
