The MSc Advanced Practice (Palliative Care) is a multi-disciplinary award pathway is highly suitable for experienced practitioners who wish to extend their academic and clinical capabilities to meet the needs of individuals requiring palliative care. Content areas include: Epidemiological and demographic trends and their impact upon palliative care policy and strategy Assessing and managing complex needs in palliative care to improve patient outcomes Multi-professional and multi-agency working Key features of the pathway include: Direct relevance to practice through assignments that allow the student to develop ideas and practice while studying This multidisciplinary award can comprise of 3 modules that are directly associated to Palliative Care or students can select two optional modules from the wide range available to support their particular learning needs e.g. leadership, risk management, clinical assessment, learning, teaching and assessment Online delivery allows flexible study patterns with face to face 'masterclass' option
