About the course: The Course is delivered in London, by Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College and awarded by the University of Wales. Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College is now one of the few colleges who are still in possession of the government awarded Highly Trusted Status (HTS). This programme is for you if you are seeking an appropriate postgraduate qualification prior to developing your career in a management position. The programme addresses the main business management disciplines within a Business context and aims to provide a rigorous postgraduate business and management education leading to the award of an MBA degree. Is it for me? Have already achieved an ABE level 7 Postgraduate Diploma and would like to top up to a full Masters of Business Administration. What qualifications or experience do I need to start this course (entry requirements)? A relevant honours degree obtained at a university recognised by UK NARIC, or a substantial amount of relevant work experience and an ABE Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma awarded by an institution recognised by the University of Wales, using NARIC equivalencies. - Students whose first language is not English, an overall IELTS score of 6.5 is required (or equivalent) with no less than 5.5 in each band score or other tests such as: 1.Cambridge English Advanced: Taught postgraduate: minimum score of 58 2.Cambridge English Proficiency: This test is set at CEFR Level C2; therefore, a pass would be acceptable at all levels of entry. 3.Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic): MBA: minimum overall score of 59 (min 62 in all communicative skills*) 4.TOEFL iBT: Taught postgraduate: minimuk score of 87 (Listening: 20, Reading: 22, Speaking: 23, Writing: 22) 5.TOEIC: Taught postgraduate: minimum in Listening: 460, Reading: 432, Speaking: 173, Writing: 170 Students are normally required to have a minimum one year s post graduation work experience. To proceed to the Dissertation Stage students must pass the 3 week Marketing Module Assessment: The programme aims to develop analytical abilities, using concepts derived from a wide range of academic disciplines, directed towards management and business problem solving in a business environment. Part One: The three week programme structure consists of one taught module in Marketing. Part Two: Dissertation: Students produce a 15,000-20,000 word dissertation.
