Course Description

Overview Our qualified instructors deliver the Annual Mandatory Basic Life Support training to the current Resuscitation Council Guidelines (Risk Management Standards - CQC). These courses are duration of three hours - dependant on course size and needs and we can deliver both the Adult BLS and Paediatric BLS. The course is aimed at both NHS and Social Care staff - and is applicable for all Hospital staff, Agency working Staff, GP Practice and Community Health care Professionals and Staff and also all Care staff working within care environments, i.e. Elder PersonsResidential Care HomesFacilities, etc. Outline of Programme This includes: Recognition of Deteriorating Patient including PARTMEWS scoring Casualty Examination Unconsciousness Allergic Reactions, Anaphylaxis & Anaphylactic Shock Priorities of response - Crash Call Managing Incidents & Airway Initiation and continuation of Basic Life Support - Adult, &or Child & Baby Choking
