Course Description

The MA in Irish Writing (one year full-time or two years part-time) provides students with a solid grounding in the literary, intellectual and aesthetic traditions of Ireland from the 18th century to the present day. All students take modules in Northern Irish Culture and choose from specialist modules across a range of periods and genres. The course is suited to English Literature graduates keen to pursue advanced-level study either as an end in itself or as preparation for a PhD. Funding is available to the best students from various sources, including AHRC, DEL and the School of English at Queen?s.
