The Programme The MA Financial Management is a one-year, full-time, postgraduate course aimed primarily at new or recently qualified graduates from any discipline. The MA Financial Management is designed as a generalist, career entry degree. The curriculum is designed to ensure coverage of the relevant theoretical, conceptual and practical aspects of the subject area, and can be used as a successful platform from which to progress to future study at both MPhil and PhD levels. The MA Financial Management is structured into three stages: ? Seven core modules which provide a foundation to establish management knowledge: Research Methods in Business and Management Business Economics and Accounting Organisation Behaviour Strategy Theory of Finance Corporate Finance Financial Management. ? One further elective from our wide portfolio available these include options in areas such as marketing, finance and management. ? A 12,000 word dissertation which provides an opportunity to work on a financial management topic of personal interest, utilising knowledge and theory acquired throughout the programme.
