Course Description

What you will study Learners will develop their music performance skills and knowledge of music technology software, practical recording techniques and understanding of the music industry. They will explore different styles of music, work actively as part of a group and be encouraged to give and take ideas in the creation of music productions. How you will learn This is a practical performance course with some theory work threaded throughout. Learners will develop throughout the course, completing assignments and projects based on the type of activities required of those employed in the popular music business.

Entry Requirements

Predicted grades A*-D at GCSE including English and Maths, plus a reasonable degree of musical ability on the learner's chosen instrument. Interview and audition also required.
