What you will study The programme consists of two compulsory units:- - Working safely in an engineering environment - Developing yourself and working with other people in engineering activities plus two or more optional units:- - Making components using hand tools and fitting techniques - Engineering machining - Assembling mechanical components - Working with sheet metal - Working with thick plate - Joining using welding techniques - Using oxy-fuel gas cutting equipment - Assembling electrical circuits How you will learn This course is a practical, hands-on programme.
