PERSONAL & SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT Code: 2050/1A COURSE DURATION: 35 Week(s) COURSE DATES: 17 September 2009 to 01 July 2010 MODE OF ATTENDANCE: Evening DAY COURSE RUNS: THU TIME: 6:45 PM to 8:45 PM Entry Requirements This course is for students with additional support needs who wish to develop independent living skills and skills for work. Course Content The course is to help you develop skills for use in everyday life, such as travelling, or planning social events and any other ideas you may have. Method of study Discussion and practical activities. You will be taught in small groups by your tutors with support from learning support workers wherever needed. Method of assessment You will be assessed continually throughout your course and you will not have to take any examinations. At the end you will gain a College certificate. Progression routes You could join other full time or part time courses such as New Horizons or entry level courses. FEES AND FINANCIAL HELP: * ?209.00 * This fee is approximate and subject to change. Final costs will be confirmed at time of application. You may also be able to pay by direct debit or, if you are on means tested benefit, your tuition fee may be waived.
