Psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists, supervisors, consultants, pastoral ministers and life and executive coaches offer a professional relationship and a professional environment to help individuals, couples, teams and organisations develop, grow, change and realise their potential. they are in the business of facilitating deep change that hopefully lasts. how do they do that? how do we accompany others on their life and work journeys so that they can: 1. learn what they need to learn to adapt and change 2. develop in new and exciting ways 3. live to their best 4. stay well and resilient in a complicated world 5. change what needs changing in their lives? 6. deal with the daily on-going problems they face? 7. accept the existential realities of life and living? learning outcomes - to review, once more, what is meant by facilitating learning - to look at what transformational learning means and contrast it with other forms of learning (knowledge, skills, capacities, capabilities, competencies, developmental learning) - to outline and evaluate creative methods of intervening that connect to the learning styles of individuals - to present the experiential learning cycle as a key method of learning from experience and being able to sustain learning - to focus on critical reflection as the methodology of learning transformationally - to present a number of workshops on creative ways of facilitating transformational learning.
