To provide delegates with knowledge and understanding of the roles and responsibilities of working at heights using rope access.

This entry level course provides successful delegates with an internationally recognised qualification in Industrial Rope Access, allowing you to work on a wide variety of structures in all types of industry sectors – from window cleaning on skyscrapers to cliff stabilisation or NDT on offshore installations.

  • Basic rescue techniques
  • Basic rope access manoeuvers
  • An understanding of RAMS
  • Fitting, function and inspection of personal equipment

(Delegates will initially carry out manoeuvers at low level but more importantly practice at height as they progress).

Delegates successfully completing an IRATA Level 1 Industrial Rope Access course will receive an IRATA certificate valid for 3 years.
