Course Description

Learn the correct use of an E-File. E-Filing is an alternative procedure which can be used to replace the more traditional type of filing using a paper file or buffer. When correctly used, an E-File does not damage the natural nail. Damage can be caused to a natural nail by incorrect use of any file, whether it is a paper file or an E-File. Correct training and method of working with both mediums is the important key in either case. For Nail Technicians suffering from fatigue or who have experienced Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, the use of an E-File can sometimes prove beneficial. The key to successful E-Filing is in the equipment, and learning how to use it correctly and students will be given a thorough grounding on how to use the E-File and attachments. This is a two-day course where initially students use a specially-designed Training Hand. You will be taken through all the basic procedures enabling you to gain skills and confidence prior to working on live models. On the second day you will attend for an assessment with a model and perform a complete acrylic service, using the E-File. The course will cover:- ? Salon Ethics ? Hygiene and Sanitisation ? Anatomy of the nail ? Client Consultation ? Contra-indication and Contra-action ? Overview of Equipment ? Practical Workshop ? Client Aftercare ? Frequently asked questions CPD Points: 13
