Course Description

Course Overview This course is suitable for Holistic Beauty Therapists who have already successfully completed and achieved the Holistic, Body Massage or Aromatherapy qualifications including relevant Anatomy & Physilology. Course Structure The programme is delivered over 18 weeks. Attendance will be on Mondays, 6pm - 9pm, commencing on 14th September 2009 and 8th February 2010. All practical work will be carried out in the College's Beauty Treatment Rooms. Qualification Aims VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Indian Head Massage VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards (if not current). AssessmentsExaminations Continual written and practical assessments assignments in both theory and practical aspects of the course. Practical assessments are carried out in a realistic work environment (RWE) on fee-paying clients. A portfolio of evidence is compiled throughout the course and submitted for final verification. Health & Safety, Security and Employment standards are assessed by external written papers. As such this will involve completion of home assignments working towards the multiple choice written question paper.
