Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Light Vehicle), National Diploma - Level 3 (IMIAL) Qualification Obtained: National Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair About this Course: This course will provide you with a high standard of knowledge as well as the practical and interpersonal skills you will need to work in the industry or progress to degree-level study. Focusing on a broad range of topics you will learn all about motor vehicle technology and motor sport development. Specific topics include: Motor Vehicle Repair; Preparation and Testing; Health and Safety; Teamworking. Entry Requirements: Successful completion of the National Certificate in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and you need to be at Literacy and Numeracy Level 1 standard. Assessment Methods: Practical and written assignments Online tests Portfolio of work Progression: This course gives you a number of progression options including immediate employment in the industry. However, you might want to consider doing an Advanced Apprenticeship or our exciting Foundation Degree in Autosport Technology. Skills Developed: Still focusing on competition vehicle systems and servicing, you will develop your skills to a much higher level.
