Painting and Decorating Diploma Level 3 (Construction Awards Alliance) WHAT'S ON THE COURSE? A mainly practical study of the subjects listed in Level 3. Mandatory Units Unit No. 173 - Assist in establishing the operational area Unit No. 174 - Assist with progressing operations Unit No. 175 - Assist with organising resources Additional route Unit No. 182 - Co-ordinate activities to paint by brush and roller Unit No. 183 - Co-ordinate activities to hang wall coverings to complex areas Unit No. 184 - Co-ordinate activities to produce advanced specialist finishes Please note that these units are under review by the awarding body and may alter in the future. Also required to complete the course is one written External Knowledge Test. WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE AND FEES? HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? 1 Year. Full Time. WHEN DOES IT START? 05 September 2011. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Tuition fees are free for this course (home students only). However, for students aged 19+, there is a fee of ?50 per year, which may be remitted if you are on income-based benefits. Additional costs: The learner is required to provide their own safety boots and safety goggles. A T-Shirt (6.00) and Hooded Sweatshirt (16.00). These items must be worn as part of student workwear.
