Course Description

Study Area Care & Health Duration 2 years Location: DerryLondonderry, Limavady, 4 GCSE passes (Grade C or above) including English or equivalent * This specialist Health and Social Care programme offers you an alternative to studying three individual A Levels and will prepare you for a career working with people. If you wish to study nursing, social work or behaviouralsocial sciences at university, the course provides a good foundation for advanced study and will introduce you to the essential skills and knowledge for such careers. When you successfully complete this course you will be in a position to progress to university programmes such as Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology or Social Policy and Housing.
