Care BTEC (Edexcel) First Diploma Level: Level 2 Course content: This is a practical, work-related course in which you learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. The course consists of six unites and these include: -Communication and Individual Rights Within Health and Social Care -Anatomy and Physiology -Human Life-Span and Development -Cultural Diversity in Health and Social Care -Creative Activities in Health and Social Care and the impact of Diet on health The course also includes 3 key skills in communication, IT and application of number. Course resources: All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access. Next step: BTEC National Diploma in Care National Diploma in Health Studies or employment in Health & Social Care. How to apply: Complete an application form for interview. Fees Info The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UKEU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of ?30 (or ?20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs: The tutor will advise you about any materials costs.
