Progression is possible to further and higher level qualifications such as NVQ Level 4 Business and Administration, NVQ Level 3/4 Management, ILM First Line Management Certificate, relevant HNC/D and degree programmes. Modules Mandatory Units: Carry out your responsibilities at work, Work within your business environment. Optional units include: Ensure your own actions reduce risk to health and safety, Manage diary systems, Organise business travel and accommodation, Use IT Systems Level 2, Use IT to exchange information Level 2, Database software Level 2, Presentation software Level 2, Specialist or bespoke software Level 2, Supervise an office facility, Procure products and services, Manage and evaluate customer relations, Managing the payroll function, Monitor information systems, Provide leadership for your team, Plan and implement innovation and change, Provide administrative support for schools Method of Assessment Assessment is based on observation, evidence collected by candidates at their workplace, witness testimonials and professional discussion. This process is co-ordinated by qualified college staff. Course Length 18 months Time of Delivery Day and Evening Campus Pibwrlwyd Campus Bilingual Provision The majority of this course can be studied bilingually Entry Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration is intended for those whose role involves carring out administrative duties with a considerable amount of responsibility and autonomy. Level 3 is broadly aimed at individuals who contribute to the development and implementation of administrative services within their organisation and have a substantial amount of administrative experience.
