Foundation Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Studied in either a full-time or part-time equivalent course, the foundation degree is aimed at those working, or wishing to work in an electrical/electronic occupation. At Stage 1 the subject study subjects provide a firm foundation for the specialist subjects delivered in the second stage of the programme. Subjects such as Science, Electrical and Electronic Principles, Mathematics and Business Studies provide a firm academic foundation as well as equipping the learner with the essential skills needed for the modern aspiring engineer. The Stage 2 subjects build upon this foundation and require the student to provide evidence of application within a wide range of Electrical and Electronic subjects. Fees Part time costs ?340.00 per 30 credits Further Information In order to complete the Stage 2 'Work Based Learning Project' subject, students must gain employment and or work experience at an Electrical/Electronic Engineering company. Progression The Foundation Degree has been designed in conjunction with the University of Greenwich to allow graduates of FdEng who meet the required academic standard direct entry onto the final year of the BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology Degree programme.
