FOUNDATION DEGREE (ARTS) INTEGRATED CHILDREN's AND YOUNG PEOPLE'S SERVICES Level:5 Location: Hall Green Campus Wolverhampton University Times: Day FT EveningSaturday workshops PT Duration: 2-3 Years In Partnership with Wolverhampton University What will I study? You will gain the skills you need to work across the various boundaries within children and young people's services and gain a conceptual understanding of health, social and education theory and practice in the context of Every Child Matters. You will study the following modules at Level 1: Working with children, young people and families An integrated approach to safeguarding and protecting children and young people Study skills for higher education Reflecting on practice 1 - methods and theories Studying health in the community Therapeutic relationships You will study the following modules at Level 2: Leading and managing for integrated services provision Supporting family transitions Inclusive research - ethics and practice Work based projects The family, the child and the professional Developing partnership working Policy and inclusion What can I do after this course? On successful completion of this course you could progress onto Higher Education Degree qualifications at university or find employment.
