Course Description

This course is designed for individuals working in the motorsport industry or those wishing to move into this area. In either case, you will already need to be actively involved in motorsport in some capacity. You will cover a broad range of topics, including; engineering science, aerodynamics, computer applications in Motorsport, vehicle systems, materials and manufacturing, competition car preparation, engine technology and organising competition events. These will be delivered through a largely hands-on approach, for example you will be expected to attend race events, supporting competing race cars. In the workshop you will be able to practice and show your skills in the preparation of race cars for competition events, which with the race events, will enable you to gain experience of industry practices and standards.
