On this hands on workshop you will cover: Facilitated and inhibited muscles what are they and how do they relate to imbalances and postural distortions? Static and dynamic postural and movement assessments Recognising common muscle imbalances & their associated injuries including: - Tight ITB - Pronated feet - InternallyExternally rotated knee(s) - Lower cross syndrome - Posterior pelvic tilt - InternallyExternally rotated humerus - Protracted head position As well as: - Foam rollingSelf myofascial release (SMR) exercises for imbalances - Stretches & corrective exercises for imbalances A comprehensive workbook accompanies the day and a certificate of attendance is awarded and you get to take your foam roller with you! In addition to this, we automatically and informally assess all attendees. This ensures that you have reached a good understanding of the subject and are able to apply techniques safely and effectively.
