Course Description

Employers have to risk assess their workplace first aid requirements and if the risks are high and many, then it is the 3-day First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification which would be recommended. The content is prescribed by the HSE and all candidates must attend the full 18-hours contact time in order to fulfil the qualification 'license to practice' requirement. Course scenarios are designed with individual company workplaces in mind to ensure that courses are relevant and are put into context for your employees. As well as full attendance each candidate is continually assessed on each section of the programme and then has to complete an external examination, according to current HSE regulations. Our certifying body (ITC) is approved by the HSE to run this qualification (our HSE approval number is 167096). No previous first aid experience is required to attend this course.
