Course Description

This fully certified course has been designed to meet the requirements of the first aid at work regulations 1981. It has been accredited by the Health & Safety Executive as an approved course under the regulations to give workplace first aid responders the necessary skills in casualty care and emergency handling. ( ) Course Content Responsibilities of the First Aider Basic Life Support The Unconscious Casualty Dealing with Wounds Fractures, Sprains and Strains Burns Bandaging and Patient Handling Heat & Cold Injuries Transporting the Casualty Medical Emergencies Dealing with an Emergency Reporting Procedures Notes: The Course is assessed by written examination and practical skills assessment. Successful candidates are awarded an HSE accredited FAW certificate that is valid for 3 years. This is the new standard HSE 3 day FAW course. The fee's quoted for this course are f or Group for training of up to 12 delegates delivered in house (at your venue).
