Course Description

The FdSc Animal Science is a two year (three year part-time) programme which will help you develop a wide range of vocational, personal and transferable skills, enabling you to be effective in all forms of animal-related employment. This programme is a mixture of science and animal management comprising twelve modules, each worth twenty credits — incorporating practical as well as academic elements — delivered through a set of compulsory modules. You will be encouraged to develop your particular interests within the programme modules, and specialist teaching is complemented by personal development through the professional practice module and 20 days’ relevant work experience.
