Outcomes A thorough theoretical knowledge of the anatomy, pathophysiology of common disease affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, and the muscles, ligaments, tendons and other tissues of the upper limb A thorough knowledge of the epidemiology of upper limb pain A thorough knowledge of the diagnostic and treatment modalitites available for the management of upper limb pain A working knowledge of the clinical management protocols which are supported by evidence The ability to explain common upper limb musculoskeletal disease and its management The ability to communicate with other health care professionals to facilitate interdisciplinary teamworking
