Gain: A thorough theoretical knowledge of the anatomy, pathophysiology of common disease affecting the hip, knee, ankle and foot, and the muscles, ligaments, tendons and other tissues of the lower limb A thorough knowledge of the epidemiology of lower limb pain A thorough knowledge of the diagnostic and treatment modalitites available for the management of lower limb pain A working knowledge of the clinical protocols which are supported by evidence A the ability to explain common musculoskeletal disease of the lower limb and its management The ability to communicate with other health care professionals to facilitate interdisciplinary teamworking
