In a practice driven environment such as health and social care, the concept of work based learning is forming a corner stone for the continuing professional development of health and social care practitioners and is a key theme in current government health policy. The MSc Enhanced Professional Practice is an academic award developed to enable health and social care professionals undertaking work-based learning and practice development to gain academic credit for their learning. This is a work-based modular programme which comprises of ?M? level studies Who should take this programme? This programme is suitable for experienced practitioners with a health or social care background currently working within a health or social care environment. This flexible work based learning degree requires a student led approach to learning. Most students will be in partfull time employment and this programme allows them to undertake postgraduate studies whilst they are working.

All applicants need to be in employment in the health and social care sector.
