Course Description

This programme constitutes the EYPS LONG training pathway. Study for the BA (Hons) Professional Studies incorporates: understanding child development interprofessional cooperation early childhood issues birth to three practitioners as change agents. See http:www.cwdccouncil.org.ukeypsfunding for more information For the BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies you will study: multi-professional perspectives multi-disciplinary studies the early years educator leadership and management. The PGCert offers units both at honours level and Masters level. It is intended that a graduate EYP will lead multiprofessional early childhood practice across the new Early Years Foundation Stage in all statutory, private, voluntary and independent settings by 2015. EYPs are intended to be equal in status to teachers. EYPS pathways are open to all graduates with an interest in early years. Special Features: Official recognition of skills in working with young children. Improving quality in settings through having an Early Years Professional. ?Continuing professional development for 0-5 years practitioners.
