City & Guilds 2357/EAL Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment ( Buildings, Structures and the Environment) QCF Knowledge Units Year One of Three (Day Release Monday Programme)

Course Description

This course is the new QCF qualification for installation electricians wishing to enter the commercial and industrial sectors within electrical contracting. Two examination boards have been given approval to run this new scheme:- 1. City & Guilds - 2357-13/91 2. EAL Awards Ltd - 501/1605/8 The programme is divided up into 9 knowledge units and 8 Performance units. This course replaces the City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 and 3 together with the 2356 NVQ3. It provides the candidates with the necessary skills and knowldge required to obtain employment in the electrotechnical industry and we are offering three combined knowledge units per year based upon a day release basis or two evenings per week for three years. The programme of study (216 guided learning hours per year) embraces both examination board's recommendations for the course duration. Year One Modules:- Unit QELTK3/001 / 2357-301 Understanding Health and Safety legislation, practices and procedures (Installing and maintaining electrotechnical systems and equipment) Unit QELTK3/003 / 2357-303 Understanding the practices and procedures for overseeing and organising the work environment (Electrical Installation) Unit QELTK3/004 / 2357-304 Understanding the principles of planning and selection for the installation of electrotechnical equipment and systems inbuildings, structures and the environment. PLEASE NOTE:- Our course fee of ?1500.00+VAT includes 216 hours of professional tutition from lecturer's with over twenty years experience in teaching electrical installation. All learner resources will be provided and the course fee includes FULL registration with the awarding body for the qualification and NOT just year one Units, therefore tutition fees for year two and three will NOT incur any registration fees. Both classroom and electrical workshop sessions will be strictly limited to a group size of 10 to enable the best possible learning environment and maximum achievement.
