Course Description

What will you be learning? This course qualifies candidates to work unsupervised with children from 0 to 16 years and is designed to help them progress and become more confident at work. The course includes how to: Promote positive relationships maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment promote childrens development reflect on your practice and protect and promote childrens rights. In addition, candidates select 4 optional units from a range of topics. What happens when you have finished? After you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto a higher level qualification in early years or enter full-time employment. Where and when? Option 1 Tuition Fee: ?1575 Option 2 Tuition Fee: ?1575 You may not have to pay this tuition fee if: You are unemployed and in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance (contribution-based) You are in receipt of, or are an un-waged dependent of someone currently in receipt of any of the following income-based benefits: Income-based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) Income-related Employments and Support ALlowance (ESA) Income Support Working Tax Credit (your assessed household income needs to be less than 15,276 per year (amount subject to change) Housing Benefit Council Tax Benefit (excluding the 25% single person reduction) Pension Credit - Guaranteed only You are studying for your first full Level 2 qualification, whatever your age. You are aged 19-24 on the 31st of August prior to the start of your course and studying for your first full Level 3 qualification, whatever your age.
