Course Description

Research in the School of Business Information focuses on two major research areas: Information Management and Information Systems. School research ranges from pure and applied research and development, including Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs), to consultancy, professional practice, and scholarship. Recent research projects have been undertaken in information and library management, with key topics of electronic publications, freedom of information, health information, government libraries, disaster management, school library management and public libraries and learning. Other major areas of research interest include organisational change, knowledge management, e-learning developments, sustainable competitiveness in the automotive components supply chain, managerial cybernetics, information systems and performance management systems, the viable system model and business analysis tools.
