Course Description

This two day course provides an introduction to health & safety, welfare and enviromental issues for those requiring an understanding of their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities in safety managing a construction site. At the end of the course delegates will be able to: Understand the problems in the industry Have an understanding of how health and safety law is structured Indentify how their supervisory role fits with the manager in controlling site safety Carry out risk assessments and understand the need for method statements Carry out site inductions, tollbox talks and method statement breifings Understand what is meant by proactive and reactive monitoring and appreciate their needs.
